Is the grill upgradable
I’ve always managed to replace my BMW chrome grill with a black one. Does anyone know if the same can be done with the new X1?
Many thanks for your input. |

Almost anything can be done with enough money. I think with the newer BMW's with the active shutters though, it's probably not cheap. To go fully blacked out from the factory, you'll need M Sport as well as the Extended Shadowline (at least in the US). I'm sure you could probably buy the grill surround in black for not too much money at some point down the road, but the inner portions of the grill will likely be more expensive.

The shadow line adds the black grill when ordered. https://cdn.bimmertoday.de/wp-conten...2-1024x683.jpg |
