TPMS Question
I swapped out my summers for the winter set of tires and while the car says all is good, etc. I noticed that I don't see individual tire pressure on the app any longer. is that normal?
Fine if it is as all I really care about is the head's up if one triggers the alert due to a loss in pressure but curiosity has gotten the better of me and I didn't see anything about it in the manual. Thanks in advance. |

Yep. Since putting them on I have only really taken one decent drive and that is when it went up to 100% and then said all good, etc...
I'll be going on a very long drive this coming weekend so perhaps it has something to do with needing more miles with the new tires/wheels/sensors. I don't know...just guessing. Was really just curious if anyone else has seen that or experienced it. On the summer setup I see pressure for each independent wheel both in the car and on the app on the phone. |

is this a new set of winters?
do you know what sensors were put in? OEM? aftermarket? so if it went to 100% that means the system has triangulated which sensor is at what corner. but it should show the pressure.

Dill 7008HP Redi-Sensor 433Mhz
Winter set is new as first winter with the car and heading to the snow starting this weekend. The fact that the system says OK, the app says OK and it went through the sync to 100% to me means it must be working. I just figured I should still see each tire as you say. I'm betting it is the fact that I haven't taken a decent drive since putting them on beyond the handful of miles to sync. |

i used preprogrammed HUF sensors when i built out my winter set, and i get full pressure info. my gut tells me that driving around isnt going to fix it, if its gone to 100% that means its seeing the sensors and probably getting the basic pressure data. the shop you got them from should be able to reprogram them if needed

Got it...I'll do the drive then know for sure. They are super easy to deal with and I use them for other cars so they will handle if you are indeed correct.
Thanks for all the help. |

Just wanted to provide a final update. I finally took a "longer" drive as we went from LA to Flagstaff to see friends. I decided to check the app just for the heck of it and now each tire displays individual pressure. No trip to the tire store to reset the sensors, etc.. So, I can only believe that it needed more miles or miles without stopping to send the information. No idea what else would have changed. Anyhow, all done on my end and thanks above for the help.
