SLR Performance chip :-)

I have never heard of this but I'm guessing it's tweaking the tmap in guessing it's colder than it really is. Has anyone heard of them?? Not that I would ever put something like this on my car. Just curious.

Never heard of it, but I don't think I would buy something for my engine that includes 2 black zip ties and two pieces of velcro to attach it.

Looks like snake oil to me. They claim the same 50+hp gains for the 128i.

Buwahahah, that came from Tarpon Springs Florida. I was raised/lived there for 18yrs. Looks like they were hustled by most likely an unemployed Greek guy trying to make a buck hahahah.

And from the FAQs:

Q: My vehicle is Turbo/Supercharged will the module work?
A: No, we build our chip strictly for engines not equipped with a turbo or supercharger. We can build custom chip for specific turbo/supercharged vehicles, please contact us for more info. Our custom chip for Turbo/Supercharged vehicles are built for specific timing, boost and other modifications.

I would be wary.
