Active Autowerkes exhaust

Does anyone have the AA exhaust yet? Any sound clips?

I’ve had it for about 6 weeks or so. It’s significantly better than stock. Not super loud. I’ve got it with the Remus midpipe and it’s still pretty quiet with the valves closed. Honestly with the valves closed it sounds so much better than stock. I find myself in sport plus with the valves closed a lot. No rasp that I’ve noticed and sounds really good when you get on it. Valves open sounds similar to stock but a bit more volume and deeper tone. Cleans/smooths out a lot of the stock exhausts rough edges especially with a midpipe added. There is still some rasp with the valves opened but not nearly as much.

Some of the things I wish were better:
1) fit and finish was just ok. I know this is a bargain for M carsbut still at this price for an axle back I’d like to see better.
2) packaging was weak at the ends and thus the two outside outlet pipes were a little oblong/misshapen
3) tips leave some to be desired. I don’t love them, I don’t hate them. Might replace them in the future.
4) i managed fine but there’s no instructions except for a couple pics showing the orientation of the valve springs. Keep that in mind.

Overall I’m happy with it especially considering my 2nd stock muffler was rattling and getting worse.

I think those tips would look great with a black cerakote on them!

Agree..I like it, but brushed stainless looks just a little off vs rest of car. Now maybe if car had brushed forged wheels

I have a non comp as well, I am scared of the buzzing and rattling a midpipe would cause. Can I hear this setup?
