Non BMW oem parts, with same part #

Hi all,
I need to change the heat/cooling management module in my X5 (B58C).
And I was doing a search on the part number and noticed the Toyota Supra with the B58 uses the exact same part.
So, could I use the Toyota branded part and save 200 bucks, or would there be a communications problem with the BMW?
Thanks for any help!

Hard for anyone to give you a definitive answer but what is the P/N? Bear in mind that some modules require programming (firmware flash) and then Coding (configuring to the vehicle) so it might not be plug and play anyway unless you have the tools and experience.
