I know this sounds stupid, but make sure the ECU plugs are pushed on the ECU all the way. And the sliders closed so that it clamps on the ECU. The reason I suggest this is because it is very hard to get the car not to start-up at least. It may take a bit of cranking and may throw a bunch of codes but the engine should eventually start. The only times I've seen the engine just crank and crank and crank is if the ECU isn't plugged in.
Hope that helps. Shiv |

oh yeah... and get a PnP harness if you can. It would certainly rule out a dozen or so possible problems. And make your life a lot easier in the long run. These days, there is absolutely NO reason to go pin-out. Just asking for trouble, imho. Especially now that fuel pressure is intercepted in kits.

+1 on the ecu connection problem, make sure it seated properly if you are forcing it you are not doing it right. It should slide in and connect without any force at all.

Its also possible to slide the multipin connector into the slider assembly incorrectly... so that no pins in the connector can reach the ECU. I did that once...

wow, we've got very similar car options, odd mix of stuff, cool, good luck with the JB3, it's a great tune.
