Hi everyone
Checking to see if anybody knows if this can be fixed
Unfortunately i hit a parking partision

I checked a new part from bmw and its close to 3k
I saw a few aftermarket options for much less but i fear it will match the rest of the car
I hv a 50th edition

Thank you

Not a solution to repair the lip but recently saw a member selling their oem M performance lip for $1k with damage on the driver side but no damage on the passenger. Could be a solution to just replace that one part instead of buying a brand new one

I don’t think that’s fixable.

I seriously don’t think you’ll notice the difference between OEM and aftermarket though. I bought that lip for ~450 bucks in beautiful dry carbon (same sold by vendors for 1k+). It looks exactly like your OEM one.

Like others have said. Probably best to look aftermarket. That part is only available from BMW as the complete lip. Part number 51192475168. Several aftermarket companies have those side pieces separately with as good or better than OEM quality

I would try to source the partially damaged one, that's only damaged on the drivers side. The aftermarket pieces look nothing like the OEM piece. Your other option is to change the whole lip for a knock off, like whats posted.

Thing is, if you've never had an OEM one on your car, and you get a knockoff, you wont notice much of a difference. If you already have an OEM piece, and you remove it for a knockoff, you will see when you are removing the OEM piece, how much better it is.

You're going to definitely pay to get a new one, but, unless you absolutely don't care what it looks like, you'll want the OEM. Worst case scenario, claim it on Comprehensive insurance, and get a new one.

I would also check the pressure in that tire.

best bet is to go aftermarket, and take the loss. Definitely not fixable.

The second link is what I was referring to. Going afterrmarket will definitely be cheaper however there’s no guarantee the carbon weave will match

You'll have to replace the whole lip, either way. Because the parts arent able to be mixed and matched. You can get a partially broken OEM front lip, and only replace one side.

Also realize the OEM front lips are installed at the port, and are installed with Betalink epoxy.

I'm sure there are others but I have a couple of their pieces on my G83 and some R44 Carbon and you can't tell the difference from stock (don't think R44 has just the side pieces only as a full lip)
That's the wrong part. The canards are these (this pic is in the link):

You have a new Jahre 50, buy OEM and call it a day. I would not consider anything else, it was an expensive lesson.

not worth fixing imo unless you can find a used one in the for sale section for cheap

i'd try a CF vinyl wrap over it. i dont think anyone other than you would be able to tell.

also your tire pressure looks low

agreed, fill the hole with some epoxy-resin or similar, smoothen the surface to come close to original shape and then paint it black or wrap it. It might not be the last time you scratch/damage it. It is like with the rims, sooner or later it happens.
