Hi

Looked on the BMW app for cost of brakes and discs for standard brake ie not carbon. These prices seem “inappropriate”. Has anyone in UK had these done yet and at what cost??

That does seem incredibly high, far higher than F8x cost.

You could always call your local dealer and speak to the parts department and ask for the price of the a brake disc and pad. They sell to the public at retail price.

Shame my friend who ran the parts department left Inchscape. Will call them though.

That can't be right.

So if you needed front and rear discs + pads it would cost you 14k+ POUNDS? Thats 17k+ usd!! That has to be for CCB.

If not ... just go aftermarket and get better discs and pads for a fraction of that.

That was my suspicion even though meant to be priced based on VIN. Will check with my normal SA.
