Should I coat my wheels before mounting tires or after?
I will be using CarPro UK3, it works and hold up great.

It is easier to do without tires on but I get paranoid about wheel weights sticking.
I coated my VMRs before tires and didn't have any problems.

Really a pretty dumb question but what the hell..those weights stick to everything.
But maybe dudes will fudge them handling because they are slippery? oh no

Most videos I’ve seen have mounted tires. That’s the route I’d go so the ceramic doesn’t get rubbed off during install.

is there any potential effect if you get the coating on the inner wheel lip where the tire bead mates up. Can it cause the tire to slip on the wheel ?

ive always coated after tire is on. for me its easier to handle the wheel on a table with the tire on and i dont have to worry about wheel weights falling off. I've had that happen when coating before.

Dang, I guess that is the answer I was looking for.

They are definitely easier to coat with the tires on. You can man handle them with the tire as a cushion, leaning, spinning and laying them face down.

I had my first CarPro Perl experience today....seems alright.
I normally use Wolfgang exterior trim sealant and Megs Hyperdressing in the wheel wells.

And it looks like I will be getting my left and right covers for the WTF holes, Monday.
Should help the engine bay stay cleaner.

I'd do after. My brother coated his new wheels before mounting tires and the weights fell off bringing the wheels back home

I coat it off because I want to do the barrel also and I use Gyeon Rims and coat the calibers too.
