Audi Q7

Anyone seen the new Audi Q7? I saw one at the gas station the other day (dealer tags). The thing looks and sounds amazing. The engine sounds like a muscle car.

Here in Germany you can see it more often, but I only find the front
very good, if you can see it in your interior mirror, it looks very angry.
I´m really disappoint from the rear, in catalogues it looked somehow
more better as in nature, it´s fat and the lights don´t fit in my eyes.
Driving features will be certainly very good, but let us wait, until the
new X5 will come!

Still debating whether to ditch the Rx in favor of the Q7. I'll most likely wait for Audi to get all the quirks outta the 1st year production cars.

popularity in U.S. - in Germany it´s being a hit, more often than the
Porsche Cayenne?!!

Not sure if it's a big hit, but I've seen quite a good amount. I have a buddy whom has the V6 version and its been in the shop numerous times.

touraeg is too expensive for a VW here

the V8's are high 40-50 thousand and the v6 is a slow slow dog

nobody buys expensive VW's in the states.

The porsche is popular in affluent areas though

I went to the Audi Q7 event last weekend, drove and ride in the Q7. The engine is great, and exhaust sounds very nice, deep and powerful sound. I just dont like the big tail lights.

I also ride in RS4 with professional driver there. 2 words .... GREAT CAR!

That´s a great, beautiful, fantastic car...it´s a car with pure understatement,
only the two exhaust´s and the label betray the really sportsmen in it!

i was disappointed by the size and proportion of the Q7. It's really ungainly and from what i hear the ride is not very good. HARSH but doesnt handle. The interior is typical Audi...very nicely laid out. I just wasnt impressed with it after seeing it in the flesh.

No question, the car itself is quite very good and if you´ve got the angry looking radiator grill in your inside mirror, it looks really frightening.
