Unfortunately I guess I was not spared... At 21,400 miles I had LONG cranks and an extremely rough idle on cold start. The car went into immediate limp mode and threw a CEL. Once I got the car to actually run I took it to the dealer. One new HPFP thank you very much.

And the car is being updated to v.31 (or whatever the newest version is).

For what it's worth the car is 100% stock, May 07 production. The tech blames poor quality California gas.

I hate hearing about this. Has your 2008 model had it's HPFP replaced yet?

I hate answering that question...superstitious and all. The 08 have been very reliable.
