Reviews of 25e/30e hybrid engine?

Hi,
I am looking for videos of the PHEV hybrid engine but I cannot find any (searching in English/French/Italian). I could only test drive the petrol engine here in France back in November, when I have ordered the 25e. Delivery is expected in May.
I am particularly interested on how it drives, the noise, how often the petrol engine turns on, acceleration, fuel economy, etc...
Could you please share if you find it? Or maybe some reviews/thoughts from owners?

Thanks!

RichAppz is the guy who took delivery today.
Its hard to find as all produced before december had a defect and we waited 3-4 months for parts to be fixed.
I am waiting 30e which inhope is ready soon as the parts are here

We have a 25e on order as well and have seen VERY little reviews on it unfortunately. The video below is the best I've found but no actual review. I believe the tech is the same as the 2 Series Active Tourer so reviews on feel / power etc. are similar for that. Hoping a few people will do a few reviews over the coming months.

I also saw that one, but it is a silent video
There is also this one in Italian, bit it gives 0 useful info: it looks like that BMW invited journalists on the snow to test the AWD performances and that's it, no test drive on normal road or other type of review.

Same test in German:

I’m sure they will release a few to journalists. Or we get the people who are getting them on here in the next few weeks to post away some thoughts. Fingers crossed.

Here is another review of the 30e model. It’s in French but google subtitles work well.
They say that they soon will post a road test.

I have found one in French for the 25e, there are automatic English captions (go to minute 22.00):

Hadn’t noticed but yes it does. Haven’t seen it in the options list.

Yeah it's pretty nice. I've only seen the grill fully in either standard chrome or shadowline black but this is like a mix of both. Maybe it's only for the French market. In this configuration it reminds me a bit of the XM's.

Isn’t this how the grill comes in the US with the M Sport Package if you don’t add the extended Shadowline contents?

Not sure. The msports without shadowline that I've seen have looked like this picture I'm attaching. Curiously that one seems to have a bit of shadowline, the roof rails, but not the grill or side mirrors.

You’re right, I just looked at the configurator online. The grille with the black inner and metal outer frame seems to be the base model:

I stand corrected - you are right - in the UK it is the "Sport" trim (read base model) that comes with this grille, I just hadn't noticed. A strange marketing ploy when they charge extra to have it on the M Sport which, I think, should have the black grille as standard.

X1 25E U11 with info9

I have had the 25e for a month now and am still learning!
Whilst the handover was good and given the basics, one needs to spend time going through the icon menus. I didn't find the information I was looking for without reading the Handbook comprehensively and sitting in the car. The Handbook contains too much information at times!! If you have not had a hybrid or electric car one needs to be patient and understand that simple things like economy on journeys and odometer need to be discovered! The satnav and displays are excellent but use voice control over touchscreen as it less risky in that one does not need to take your eyes off the road!
I found time slot charging a challenge, not so much I didn't understand the process, but that a residual charge 20% should be left in the battery. Nobody told me this!! Perhaps my car has some idiosyncratic traits!!
I purchased the Teck pack plus and the heads up display is brilliant. However I am not sure if the adaptive lights work as they should!! I am still dazzled by oncoming drivers. There is also a large icon to de activate battery which appear to do anything.
The oddest thing for me is that if a door is left ajar or wide open, I can still lock the car! There is no warning to tell you, as in previous x1s, that one cannot lock the door as a door is open. I don't understand and enquiries to BMW UK causes them to scratch their heads as to why!!!
My wife finds the passenger sport seat to be very uncomfortable as the fixed head rest,(other than height), forces her head and shoulder forward. I have the active seat with lumbar and find it comfortable on long journeys.
My advice to anyone wishing to purchase the new X1 U11, should have a long test drive just to see if the seat is comfortable and to order the active seats. There are many mixed comments on the sport seat comfort that it is worth the time to thoroughly test them.
Overall a great car but along learning curve to master this so called 'intelligent' car.
I will occasionally update with further thoughts.

Hi everyone, I'm considering ordering the 30e. A question: with the parking package with 360° cameras, is there also a dash cam?
I also evaluated the GLA250e and as an option there was the dash cam item (around €250).
Here on the X1 I saw that there is an interior cam, but I haven't seen anything about a dash cam.

There is no dash cam fitted as standard but earlier models have drive recorder which takes short videos in case of accident and can be used to manually record short clips upto 40 seconds.
I have read on here that the drive recorder seems to be missing in idrive9 at the moment.
