HOLY SSTT!!!
So I got my SSTT. It was a bitch to install but supposedly once youve done it once its easy.
My car is REALLY fast now. I can't imagine what the guys with JB and XEDE experience in their cars if mine feels this different. Best $ ive ever spent

technically wouldn't the best money ever spent be buying the car?

Nice! I can install/uninstall with my eyes closed now Enjoy the extra horses!
I wonder if they're continuing on the project of SSTT v.2...

no. thinking of how much money it sucks out of you down its life, it's not the best money spent ever. Anything that you spend on top of that to make it special I guess is ok though.

You will get better at installing it in time. Took me 5 minutes the first time. Now, I can do it in 90 seconds max. Flashlight and a small screwdriver is all you need.

Yeah, for now I'm thrilled with the SSTT. Still getting used to it. It's a lot of power for the rear wheels to deal with so I'm still learning how to get the most out of it without setting off the traction control having to back me down. As soon as I can do that I'll upgrade to the JB3 PnP

Ouch, I'll help you before the monkeys have a field day with you.
Split Second Turbo Tuner It's a simple one-plug piggyback tuning device that intercepts and modifies the TMAP sensor signal which causes the turbos to deliver a few PSI more boost and about 40 more horsepower. It was one of the first tuning options for the N54 engine and when it first came out everyone on this forum thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. But now, the SSTT's status as "flavor of the day" has dimmed as the fanboys move on to newer, shinier things. |

Damn I tried installing mine this morning and it is a bitch to try and get the sensor seperated the first time... Im was unsuccessful this morning, but then again I did not give myself too much time before I had to head off to work. This morning I tried using a Guitar pick and the USB cable and was not able to disconnect it.. any suggestions??

At this point in the game, I'm not sure anybody with a SSTT would consider going with the JB+. . . . doesn't make sense to pay for it to upgrade just a few horses. . . . if that. No conclusive tests done yet, and there are no long term tests yet
