Advice for diags and coding

Hi, I have a 2017 330E and have been reading about using an ENet cable and E-Sys for coding but I was wondering if this can also be used for diags and clearing errors?

If so where is the best place to get E-Sys from and are there any how to's?

You can get ISTA its BMW dealer diagnostics tool.
