Will an 2014 m4s suspension springs fit on a 2012 AH3 f30?

Spring rate, diameter, installed height and shock absorber specs
would have to be a factor in all of it. At a guess, you might get them onto the car and find a deterioration in road performance. Last edited by BRK; 04-07-2023 at 11:43 PM.. Reason: Typo |

I want less body roll specifically, maybe a little lower ride height as well. My e90 that had m sport suspension had almost no body roll, but my f30 without rolls real bad

It’s an f30 335iH. I looked at some sway bars but they are all like 1000+. I’m in nz btw
It’s an m sport but without m suspension and brakes |

https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1418092 I am not a suspension expert, but trying to reduce body roll via springs is going to lead to an excessively harsh ride imo, especially when we know the stock sway bar is undersized. IDK about NZ prices, but stateside no individual bar exceeds ~400 USD. For example- I just got this kit which is two bars for 550 USD https://eibach.com/us/1940/E40-20-03...-anti-roll-kit |

Oh yo, I saw one on alibaba for $200nzd, about 120 usd. Made out of strengthened aluminium. https://m.alibaba.com/product/160055...7D%7D&from=IOS
Do you think that one will be good? The one you bought is $880 nzd for me, not even including the shipping fees. I don’t mind the harsher ride, actually like the feel more. My tyres side wall is surprisingly thick considering the fact it’s an 18” mag, so currently I feel nothing besides the generous amount of pot holes Looking at that diagram it’s only 1mm difference between both front/rear m sport and the ones in my car. So it really wouldn’t make that much of a difference would it? Maybe I’ll just m sport springs to lower and stiffen a bit more? |

Can't see as I don't have the alibaba app, but I most likely wouldn't put something like that one my car. Maybe i'm just spoiled by American prices, but I wouldn't put mysterious suspension parts in my car. Which leads to the next point...
Are you planning to install the bar yourself, or pay a shop to do it? A new sway bar requires you to drop the front subframe for install. It is a very laborious process and almost certainly not worth it to go through all the trouble to install some unknown bar. I'm not suggesting to change the BMW bar for the marginally thicker BMW bar. I'm suggesting to get a 28mm sway bar from H&R, Dinan, KC Designs, Eibach, etc. You initially said you wanted less body roll, the best way to do that is to upgrade your sway bar (also known as Anti-Roll Bar...). |

Ooooh I get you now. I thought you were talking about the bar that goes from strut tower to strut tower. ( aluminium bar )
If I’m gonna do that, I’ll definitely spend the proper money for the part, and probably pay someone to do it as I probably don’t have to skills to do it. Is this kind of what you mean, where it braces the whole underside?. ( bars with red ) Will definitely look into that, as I really need to eliminate this body roll. |

If you're going to keep your car for a while, I'd recommend putting in a proper sway bar in the front / rear. Refer to the thread I previously linked for anecdotes and suggestions. |
