F30 springs on a F33

Good day everyone
I hope everyone is good

I just joined today and hoping to get some wisdom.

I have a 2015 BMW F30 320i M-sport and a G20 330i M-sport

The F30 currently has H&R lowering springs (Low 28877-2)
I'm currently in the process of changing my F30 for a F33 420i M-sport, I've always wanted a convertible.

Both cars don't have adaptable suspension

Could i use the F30 springs on the F33?

can you = yes
should you = no

I recommend springs designed for a F33 since is much heavier(especially in the rear) than a F30

Springs are designed for a specific model and weight. My recommendation is the same. Just get the right springs. Springs are not expensive.

if available in south africa, i recommend you consider eibach pro-kit as it has more comfortable ride than h&r and it also addresses the reverse rake, fixes issue of front wheel gap being larger than the rear wheel gap.

Eibach Pro-Kit, E10-20-031-07-22

Thanks for that, the only reason I went with H&R at the time was because it was the lowest spring i could find because I didn't want to go the coilover route. I was actually surprised of how small the difference was in ride quality.

You not the 1st person to to me about Eibach, i will see the options they have.

Thanks so much

H&R lowers more than Eibach, so if you want low and you are happy with the ride comfort, then stay with H&R
