Passenger Restraint System notification after cable didocnnected

Yesterday my dogs lease got stuck by the seat on the side where the seatbelt is and when I took the leash out with some effort I got the ‘Passenger Restraint System’ notification.

I noticed the black wire (in the photo) was disconnected so I connected the 2 pieces back together but Im still getting the Passenger Restraint system notification.

I fastened the passenger seatbelt in to see if it will be loose and tigged at it and it was tight so theres no worry that it would malfunction in case of emergency.

How do I get rid of the Passenger restraint system notification? I got my car serviced last week and last thing I wanna do is take it to service again

SRS faults do not go away on thier own, you have to scan and delete the code. If the code comes back there is a problem with the system.

Can I get it done at a body shop or do I have to go to BMW service center again?

Try somebody in your area who has the dongle and bimmerlink to help, it can clear the code in a second.
