And another question is, are they full matrix, or just simple adaptive with basic high / low beam switching?

I read LEDs are standard and Full LEDs with cornering lights are part of the Premium and Executive Packages. Be good to see pics with and without for comparison and then do the daytime running lights stay the same???

Miss the days of standard cornering lights with xenons in a base E90. Pay up for every little thing now on a pricey vehicle.
Laser lights are not allowed in the US.

Per the infographic from launch press kit, matrix high beam is optional.
What I'm waiting to learn is whether or not the VLD/anti-dazzle/tunneling patterns are now available since US law now allows them. Standard functionality of the auto-high beam is nice but VLD/anti-dazzle is better.

You will have to manually activate it through coding. Fun fact: you can't code the G60 because of Secure Coding. |

They are allowed, because there are vehicles like the X7 that were sold with them in the US. But BMW had to limit there brightness.

Briefly got some of our hopes up for massaging seats there, BMW-X!
Wouldn't have been a deal breaker but a nice-to-have for sure.
