Put my deposit for a M3 24' Anybody know if this will be the LCI?

Hey Guys,
Excited to get back into a BMW after almost 4 years. Just put my deposit for a 24' m3 and was confirmed to be in the "BMW order Bank".. whatever that means. My sales advisor was saying that the 24' production starts in July or August. Any rumors circulating in regards to a LCI for 24' or is that likely to be 25' model. I figured since the base models got a LCI this year shouldnt the M also get the same treatment. Sales Advisor mentioned its highly likely. Wanted to see if anyone has any thoughts or knowledge in regards to this? Or anything specificaly new about the 24' models?

There isn’t any major difference between MY23 and MY24.

G80 LCI will be MY25.

Would you guys just wait for the LCI or take delivery of a 24 if you were in my shoes?

LCI is most likely minor; new headlights, taillights, additional colors (maybe), and probably another price hike. But no one knows for sure.

I was originally going to get the 24 until I found about the lci in my25 so i found a allocation (my23) that was built almost as close as what i wanted except color and currently at port waiting for a ship. So ill be driving the my23 for little over a year and will trade it in for the my25

I personally wouldn’t wait. Get it and enjoy it! I’m loving my ‘23 so far!

I also think you can kind of wait forever cuz there is always something new in pipeline. It’s only new for like 3 years…

And potentially small bump in (b)hp.

Depending on how long you intend to keep it and how long you've already been waiting, waiting a little longer for LCI (MY25) may be the better option.

Perhaps consider early used/pre owned one and swap when your MY25 arrives.

Do you have any specific reason to wait for the LCI, say you are planning to keep it as your last ICE vehicle?

If there isn’t a specific reason, I will go ahead and purchase a MY24. There will always be a next best thing in a few years.

Been getting more important things set before I jumped back into a BMW, Only real reason I was thinking to wait until LCI, Is currently its a 6 months wait for a 24 to come my way or it would possible be a 1.5 year wait from now for the LCI. I just dont want to be the one to purchase a new car right before a Updated one is released depreciation would suck :/

It sounds like you not really ready to buy. Most of these cars depreciate regardless and LCI is not like next generation. It’s mild update that won’t have significant effect on value. But yes all of them will depreciate

Definitely Ready to buy, Looking to keep the car for the long-term. Just not sure if its worth the extra year to wait off, or just get into a 24'.
