Thank you for sharing.

I am surprised that BMW has still not bumped their destination fee especially with logistics issues seen in the past years. Some OEMs charge close to $1400 for vehicles made in the US.

Perhaps they have a good contract with suppliers for delivery

Irrespective of existing contracts, bean counters in most companies look for an opportunity every single time and they had plenty of reasons since 2021.

Just looking back on how US MSRP has changed since introduction and using G80c as an example:

MY21 - 72,800 (MY introduction)
MY22 - 72,800 (MY introduction)
MY22 - 73,000 (Mid MY increase)
MY23 - 76,700 (MY introduction)
MY23 - 78,600 (Mid MY increase)
MY24 - 80,200 (MY introduction)

Perhaps since BMW is the largest in cash value exporter of vehicles in the US may have something to do with it in the reverse. How much is an SUV shipping form the US overseas lol

Its going to be interesting to see the value of these vehicles (especially MY22) after 5 years or so once the market is flooded with them.

Agree, I was thinking the markups maybe moot within a degree. As, since the cars value went up and how that will long term effect residuals especially those that have leases and the early adoptors.

It will also be interesting to see how if the markets correct if bmw NA will do an up content with more standard features or keep pricing in line as product costs may go down.

Fun times ahead, I'm curious to see what the 25 brings.

Let alone the pricing of the new C63

LCI might be another chance to bring in a significant MSRP hike for MY25.

Even after the MY25 price update, G8x might be cheaper than the next gen C63. Atleast thats what i expect.

Agree..curious of bmw will add anything any updated to the powertrain to close the gap if the c63 is significantly faster.

The day of F80 leases at 61% residual and 80k builds are long gone. No more sub-1k leases on M3 anymore. Remember 20% trunk money on F80 M3 CS? Crazy to think in today's terms.

It will be interesting since the AMG GTS 63 with the electric boost was noticeably faster then the M5 comp … however there’s a 70k price gap between them. I would like to see the M5CS vs the AMG with the electric boost.
Since the V8 C63 was significantly slower then G80 & the M340 is significantly faster then the A45S with that 4cyl that is rated at 400+ HP.
With all the weight gain the C63 will have from the electric motors & if I recall correctly the electric boost is for 10 seconds I don’t really believe the C63 will be significantly faster maybe off the line but from a rolling start when the overboost active, however from a rolling start when it’s not eligible I highly doubt it. I hope M division doesn’t go electrifying every vehicle.

They may...the question is with how much tech and the impact on weight. As the tech changes quickly, how soon will they adopt it and at what weight costs.

Wireless charging now standard
I see they stopped offering 1000M option? Or did I just miss that. I think some prices went up as well for options. Weren’t carbon ceramics $1k less on MY23?

Interesting that they decided to stop charging base cars with the executive package for the remote starter that they don't get.

? The base car executive package has always been lower priced than the comps. Although this MY they are $100 cheaper across the board

Insane. I was starting to give some thought on ordering a new one in the next year or so since my select financing balloon will come due in November of 2024. Crazy how much I was able to option, including an individual color, and be at $95k versus what it would cost today and who knows what increase MY25 will bring.

Between the rate hikes and the base increases I’d be paying way more than I am now for a lot less in options. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Even with inflation, these hikes are significant as M3s can easily touch $100k.

Looks like BMW doesnt have to incentivize these vehicles with the current demand, so once can expect a significant bump with the LCI next year.

Question, are you able to get an official list of all individual colors available from BMW? I have seen colors that I didn't see on the visualizer online, or so I thought. My SA, is having a hard time "finding" that, and was curious if there is a complete list of every single color they offer (or that's been done before and is available).

Thank you!
