Guys, this weekend I surpassed the 2,000km barrier and tomorrow I will drop the car for the running-in service. While doing some spirited driving (always respecting the limits of the running-in process), I heard a weird noise coming from the front left wheel while braking (it was not a soft braking but also not a super hard one, I would say 40/50% of the pedal) from around 90-100km/h. It was kind of a screeching sound, kind of a metal-to-metal sound with a subtle vibration.
It was not a squeaky sound which is normal on some sports cars (my previous RS3 and my dad’s Macan GTS make it). Far more loud and deep than this (like a humming?). Also, it is a bit random, very hard to replicate but definitely persistent. Car is on M Compound brakes. I will ask them to check it but, did anyone suffer from the same? Any idea on what can it be?

My M3 comp brakes squeak here and there the solution is when you’re getting off the freeway give it a couple hard pushes on the brakes and it should go away. At least that always works for me.
