Not huge as shown in the picture, but I got low pressure warning. I could drive to dealership with lower speed (could be < 60mph).
At the dealership, I could find a big nail. I ordered the same tire, costs $650, one tire, not a pair. It took more a day because they didi not have one in stock. I got a loaner car (brand new X5 45e, hybrid one). Overall good experience except quite expensive tire price. |

How much tread difference is there between the new and the old tire? I'm thinking that if the difference is significant, then a dealer would recommend replacing both tires, right?

That damage is too close to the side wall. Shouldn't try to repair it, will be a hazard !
