Anyplace to leave the key in the car that it won't be detected?

I need to leave my 2024 x7 somewhere for someone to pick up. I want to leave the key I. The car and then unlock it remotely. Is there someplace in the car to leave the key so that it won't just unlock when anyone tries opening it?

If you have the credit card keycard then you can leave it anywhere in the car without a faraday pouch.

Thank you. Does the key card come by default with the new x7? I think I remembered it coming with my x5 years ago.

use the digital key card on your phone and share it with your friend via text

Yes. You should have gotten one if you purchased the X7 new. You can also purchase keycard(s) from the parts department for ~$50 and pair them to your car.

I use digital key card for everything, stopped carrying keys and share with my family so they can unlock whenever. Just make sure it’s someone who you trust because they have to delete the digital card or else they can get in whenever. OP didn’t specify if one time pick up or recurring. The credit key card can just be left in the car for one time use.

2020 models doesn't have digital key. it was a physical card (similar to credit card is form factor)

Just be careful with the card that its someone who is digitally aware or knows how to use the nfc functionality I needed a few tries before I knew how to hit the spot and if you're a bit careless with placement and try to start the car it can stop working and asks for the physical key.
