Wheel Locks for OEM Rims?

Historically, I've always ordered BMW Wheel Locks for my BMW OEM rims. I wonder is this an antiquated practice? Or should I continue the practice with my upcoming 2024 M4 delivery?

Always provided in uk. I used to buy mcgard ones as BMW only has around 6 “combinations” or keys.

I used mine from my last F82. They work for both generations

I was hopeful that I could take from my F82 and move to my G82, but I think my CA told me that they are not compatible. How can I know for sure?

I bought these off Amazon

Brand: McGard
27226SUB Wheel Lock Bolts Black SUB M14 x 1,25, cone seat, shaft length 27,9 mm, Overall length 50,5 mm, Hex size 17mm, Key diameter 25,8 mm

They fitted my F32 but NOT the G80. Too long.
