Is Tesla partnering with BMW? Everything we know so far about the collaboration...
This could get interesting
Read the full article here: https://www.the-sun.com/motors/86836...artnering-bmw/ - BMW and Tesla are two of the most instantly recognisable and iconic car brands on the market. So it's unsurprising that petrol-heads are very excited about the prospect of the two collaborating together in the future. There is no official confirmation of a collaboration between Tesla and BMW. 1 There is no official confirmation of a collaboration between Tesla and BMW. Is Tesla partnering with BMW? There are rumours swirling that a Tesla x BMW model is in the works. However, there has been no official confirmation from either Tesla or BMW of a collaboration. Tesla is known for its impressive electric vehicles that have taken the world by storm. BMW is known for designing luxury cars but has been open to investing in electric vehicles. In the event of a collaboration, each brand would be able to offer the other their signature strengths. What do we know about Tesla's collaboration with BMW? Whilst no collaboration has been confirmed by either car brand an unofficial Tesla account seemed to suggest a new Tesla x BMW model was on its way. Vlogger and influencer Supercarblondie wrote in February 2023 that an unofficial Tesla account suggested the model would be an alternative to the likes of the Volkswagen ID.3 and MG4. The account suggested it would be a small car and would cost half of the price to produce Tesla's Model 3 and Model Y. USA Today reported in 2022 that Tesla and BMW were considering a collaboration on BMW batteries. It was rumored that Tesla would share its battery technology with BMW in order to improve the range of BMW's electric vehicles. BMW plans to launch it's Neue Klasse (new class) electric vehicle architecture in 2025 which will use newly developed 46-mm-diameter battery cells. These are the same larger design as the battery's Tesla is using. Does Elon Musk own a BMW? Despite owning one of the most impressive electric vehicle companies in the world, Elon Musk is known for being fond of petrol-powered cars. Among his impressive collection of motors was a 1978 BMW 310i, which he purchased for $1,400 (£1090.67) in 1994 and restored himself. He kept his BMW for a few years until a Zip2 intern used it to run an errand and one of the wheels broke off. Musk's BMW ownership didn't end there though. The billionaire later bought himself a 2006 BMW M5; a four seat family vehicle which is believed to have inspired driving mode for the Tesla Model S. Alongside BMW's, Musk's car collection also features a 1997 McLaren F1, a 1976 Lotus Esprit and even a Ford Model T. The Ford Model T is a piece of history as it was the first mass produced automobile for the general public. On top of these motors, the SpaceX tycoon also owns a 1967 E-Type Jaguar Roadster, a 2010 Audi Q7 and a 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo. Unsurprisingly, he's also the owner of a small fleet of Tesla's, including a 2008 Tesla Roadster, 2019 Tesla Model S Performance and 2020 Tesla Cybertruck. |

I've just registered and taking delivery of a CPO 22' IX Xdrive50 on Saturday with just 5k miles and couldn't be more excited. This thread got me excited thinking BMW finally partnered/joined the NACS standard. I'd love to take a cross country road trip next Summer from Charleston to Denver and the surrounding parks but the prospect of doing so on the EA network gives me serious pause. I really want to be able to use this vehicle outside of local travel.

That reads like it was written by AI. Just a lot of questions, general statements, repetition!
I hate how googling for articles turns up stuff like this a lot nowadays. |

Junk article written by AI. Really? How can anyone take seriously an article composed of one-sentence paragraphs?
