M-Sport Professional Package?

I know this has been discussed in the past.I am going to order M-Package in Skyscraper Grey so chrome front grille would blend nicely but most builds with M-Package also have M-Sport Professional. Heard bad things about noisy brakes. Are the new 24 builds any better with no noisy brakes?

Performance brakes in general can be more noisy.

That being said I have owned 3 different X7s with M-Sport brakes (black calipers each time), and not had any noisy brake issues.

No noise from M sport brakes here. Lots of brake dust though.

Can that be remedied with different pads?

To each their own but I opted to order M sport without professional. I did not want the M brakes as my previous car had them they were noisy and were very expensive to replace. Been perfectly happy with the regular X7 brakes. The only thing I wanted from M Pro was the black grille, but I'll swap that out myself.

Does the M Sport Professional package actually come with different brakes? Isn’t it just a cosmetic painted caliper?

It’s different brakes. Def not just cosmetic. They throw brake dust like no one’s business 😂

Brake dust is crazy. But not noisy as of now (1200 miles). If it does get noisy like my M5, I’ll swap with aftermarket and problem solved.

My 2023 V8 brakes aren’t noisier than my 2019 V8 brakes were. They’re all kinda noisy. My husband is on his third M5 and they’re noisy too.

Absolutely way too much brake dust. I have the black wheels and they look gray after a week.

Does anyone recommend any good pads, and where to buy? Thank you
