Sooo I was trying to lift the trunk floor mat to reach the under tow on my 2023 X7 today when the entire handle came off, I don’t even know what this part is called or if BMW sells it. Can anyone identify this part and let me know the part name?

First of all thank you! I was able to find those parts on some other OEM site for purchase as the one you sent does not seem to sell it directly but was helpful in identifying.

Question - Looks like either website is saying this is for 2019/20 year models. Should I assume that this will work anyway? Appreciate your help!

no, real oem is just a parts lookup site. the database is from 12/19 unfortunately
you can confirm with whomever you go with, getbmwparts.com is super helpful and can confirm fittement with your vin, just drop them an email.
i suspect its the same part
