Alex, looks like my 2022 got updated recently at the dealer

I don’t remember having Alexa on my 2022 that I picked up new in June 2022.
Doing a Google search it said the 2022s after November had Alexa.
I now use it for my Amazon Music and it’s pretty easy.
Do others have Alexa on their builds prior to June 2022?

My June 2022 build came with Alexa installed.

Your Google search gave you bad info.

My '21 X3 has Alexa. Was an Oct. 2020 build and came from the factory with 07/2020, and got Alexa with the 11/2020 update.

My '22 X5 45e built in July 2022 came with 03/2022 and had Alexa from the factory.

My 19 has Alexa, it is not tied to the model year.

for G05 X5, Alexa in-car integration was released with software 11/2020, but it was only supported in EU-based X5. Alexa support for the US X5 was released with software 03/2021

Alexa works in my garage but not once on the road.
What I say Alexa I get the bkue ring and then it goes away.
No idea why.
