Question Non-sport Xi shocks and coils on RWD car. Any difference?

Are shocks and coils the same on standard non-sport suspension between AWD and RWD cars?
I know that xdrive sport package has same shocks and coils as non-sport. However are there any difference between standard suspension 328i vs 328xi? Are they compatible?
