Got in the allocation line in May. Was told to expect allocation around November. SA reached out end of July with an allocation - someone apparently left the line. Possibly b/c they couldn't get carbon buckets?

Submitted order for Week 42 production (Oct 16-22).

Dream car.

On the carbon buckets: the US Configurator doesn't show them lately for the M3 (but they do for the M4). My SA said he was able to add them to the order, and the order has been accepted with status 111. So we'll see. I'm on the fence: if I can't get the carbon buckets, I could live with the standard seats, but I might cancel the order and spec an M4 (which has no wait for allocation).

Get what you want and don’t settle!

I can’t confirm, but I bet you were postponed because of the buckets. Typically, if you can add them like you did, it’s only a waiting game at this point.

I have buckets on my build. I was originally Week 30, got delayed to Week 36, but am at 150 status so my buckets *should* be locked in.

Get to 150 and you’ll be golden. Best of luck!

M4 resale values are terrible, just fyi. First year is the worst for depreciation, tbh. Why resale is so bad, I don’t know.
