Which fuse location to use for Dash cam

I am wanting to hardwire my dash cam into the fuse box located under the glove box. Just wondering what location to use for this. Has anyone done this.

Do you have the built in 'Drive Recorder'? Mine has this feature, but it's not as good as a 'Dash Cam'. I remove my Dash Cam when I sold my previous BMW (X2), I still have it and was considering fitting it into my X1. There have been a few threads here on fitting one.

I did it 5 months ago and it has been working fine so far. You can read the post #34 from mine in here:

Is this located under or behind the glove box? If so, how did you access it? Also, what dashcam do you have and what fuse locations did you use? Thanks.
