can you choose the setting you want in each category w iDrive8?

I know pushing the comfort, sport, or eco buttons engages certain settings for each category (steering, gearbox, suspension, etc,) but can you in fact go into each category and choose the setting you want for each? I assume this is what the Individual function is. Is that correct?

I'm trying to get to the online Owners Manual, but it looks like the only way to do that is to input a VIN, and I don't have mine yet.

You can’t custom each setting. However, you can pick elements from each of those settings with the “individual” setting. For example under Individual I select Comfort steering and dampening, sport plus engine, and sport transmisson.

It’s configurable in Sport and Eco, nothing in Comfort mode (at least none that I could find).

Below are what can be configured in each Modes.

You can add “Sport Individual settings” as a iDrive shortcut, so if you want to quickly change the sport individual suspension, engine, steering or gearbox settings you can open it up quickly.
