I first heard his music in 1977, he had a song in the movie FM, Livingston Saturday Night. I liked the song so much I bought the album. His music has been with me since then, been to many of his concerts, and love Key West for the Buffett vibe. The last Buffett concert I attended in Toronto. Too young. RIP

Probably one of the only artists I actually know and listen to their stuff all the time. Pretty much all I play when we are out in the pool or hanging out outside.

What a shame. Way too young. He dropped out of a tour earlier this year to check into a hospital in Boston. Pancreatic cancer, maybe? Pre-concert tailgate parties at his shows were legendary.

I was surprised to read that Jimmy Buffett's business skills were extraordinary. Apparently, the man was running an empire with an estimated value of $1 billion.

He and Warren Buffett did DNA tests on 23andMe to see if they were related. You're doing something right when the Sage of Omaha will take your call.
