Hi Folks

My X7 has the ambient air system but no cartridge’s so was wondering if the system was any good especially as the cartridge’s are £25 each?

I didn't have it but to be truthful I'm not a fan of fragrances and would do the research on those to see what they are emitting. Most are made with toxic chemicals and carcinogens so why put yourself at risk especially in a small enclosure. We recently got rid of all the plug ins in our house after reading lots of articles and studies, especially after I started having lots of sinus issues and allergies late in life.

But anyways, I know nothing of the X7's system and maybe they are OK.

I had Ambient Air in my old M5. Never used it. I have my kids in the car quite a bit. The cartridges have chemicals and are actually distributed by the BMW's Chemical Division.

It’s an outstanding system, as well as an air ionizer. You can only use the OEM cartridges as they have a chip in them. It’s a sophisticated system.

BMW Ambient Air Golden Suite Flavor №2 Genuine 64119382615 is my favorite. I set the system to setting 1 or 2.

I have it on my LCI X7 and It either doesn't work or i dont smell it even on highest setting...
And the BMW guy told me that some of the fragnances like Gold 2 doesn't really smell.... lol wtf

I thought ambient air was removed as an option. How does your LCI have it? Is it back?

No idea, i ordered my X7 in August 22 and and wanted it delivered this summer which they did.

Anyway, i read that some ppl had it on lvl1 because it was so intense while i can't smell a shit having it on lvl3

It's available in other countries where there is greater demand for it than the US.
