Go into iDrive settings and deselect it (turn it off).

After update 11/2022.60 installed, my speed warning mysteriously was enabled and set to 4 mph. Talk about annoying. I was in heavy traffic and kept hearing an audible ding after every stop. Finally had to pull over and diagnose what was wrong. But not a bad feature -- mine's now set to 90 mph -- still dings every now and then (lol).

I’m sorry to laugh but that Suuuuuuux. I had that happen in a loaner I had but the limit was set to 40. So damn annoying.

Yes, it’s in the iDrive and turn the function off.

Uh…guess I shoulda posted a pic?

Even if this is not the version of iDrive you have…it will be very similar to the images below…you can either deselect it (to turn it off) or change the speed higher than what you would normally drive

That's a good idea. I turned the warning off when I initially got the car, but I'll set it to 90 or something like that. It's too easy to accidentally hit triple digit speeds in this thing.

Everyone talks about 0 - 60 mph times. 45 to 105 mph is a hell of a lot more fun!
