Brake booster failure, '23 X7 60, 3rd time
Just got my notice on screen again. This will be my THIRD tow and repair for this problem. Last time I waited almost 30 days for the part.
Is there a lemon law to return this vehicle? I'm scared to keep driving this x7. |

Read your lemon law document - one page. Should make it clear

That really sucks, but glad the buyback has started.
To clarify, you had the brake booster replaced two separate times, and it failed again just now for a third time? So, it would indicate that the previous replacement brake boosters didn’t fix the issue? What was the mileage between incidents? I don’t think anyone has reported having the brake booster issue again after it’s been replaced, so just wanted to get some more info in case someone runs into this again. |

Also SQ7 which Audi is discounting heavily. $7500 off and attractive financing rates. My dealer has 4 of them. I will caveat this - I’d rather have the X5. But my dads SQ7 is very, very nice - he’s had the engine replaced, a heater problem, a coolant problem. So mechanical build quality is suspect. But the car is amazing otherwise.

i'd be curious if the problems follow over to range rover since they use BMW V8s.
this seems like a recent supplier issue, its mostly happening on the 2024. i wonder if there is a new part or if bmw keeps replacing bad with same. they did this with the high pressure fuel pump back in the days of the N54, kept replacing bad with same. took them a year or two to finally sort the issue.
