First time driving my 335i often. Is it normal to be near 250f for oil temp? Car LOVES COLD WEATHER OMG. Also im scared that the VRSF charge pipe is dangerous. It was very coarse inside and wonder if any metal can get into anywhere important if it came off the inside of charge pipe?

my 2013 335is n54 oil F runs at 240-250F.

was the VRSF chargepipe new when you installed it?

the interior of any aftermarket chargepipe should not be described as "very coarse inside".

perhaps removing said chargepipe and get pictorial documentation and send to VRSF and/or post the pics on this website.

perhaps removing the very coarse particles inside the chargepipe after pictorial documentation.

i installed a bms aluminum chargepipe and tial q50mm blow off valve and the chargepipe interior was free of any debris.

If your worried about any debris that may come loose then I would reccomend taking it off and using a Dremel to file and smooth any coarse areas you are unhappy about.

You shouldn't have any issues though, vrsf usually provide good quality products to the n series platform. 👍

How is the Tial blow off valve? Why do people do the diverter valve mod? To send the air to atmosphere. Instead of blowoff valve people just disconnect the hose

Yes those oil temps are normal. If there are burrs and stuff I would clean them up with some high grit sand paper and you could even polish or oil it if you want to get really OCD, but unless it's like loose chunks you're fine. They don't have a polished smooth finish inside but mine never felt abnormal and I've never heard of a single person having an issue like that.
