Rear Entertainment for little kids

So, the only way to go for rear entertainment is with ipads.
Is there a way to mirror the ipads and/or control them from the main dash?. I don’t want to give them headphones and have them hear stuff at high volumes. Also, we need to control what they see.

Thanks.

You can use Switch Control from an iphone to control the ipads: https://nordvpn.com/blog/how-to-control-ipad-remotely/

For volume, get them kid headphones with a built-in volume limiter!

We have bought a few of these over the years. They sound great and have the volume limiter.

On long trips in our car, headphones for the kiddos are a must. This way the wifey and I can listen to our own music or podcast through the main car speakers, and everyone is happy.

As others have said, there are a few ways to limit volume, we haven’t found that to be a big problem.
