Is there a better looking EV than the I5?

I see a lot of classic BMW fans that are not pleased with the new I5 design. But, we all know that EVs require a whole new level of aerodynamics to maximize efficiency. So I’m curious to hear which EVs on the market people consider better looking than the I5?

Probably the e tron gt. But with that comes one really, really boring, overpriced ride.

I think the Taycan and E-Tron GT still hold up in looks but are priced far too aggressively for today's EV market.

I quite like the polestar2 . Reasonably conventional design with a modern twist.
No idea if it’s actually any good but not bad looking in my opinion.

Second the Audi etron.

Polestar is basically a Volvo and based on my prior experiences with 3 Volvos, it's no comparison to BMWs, especially in terms of build-qualities.

Taycan is probably the better option but it comes with a relatively long waitlist and lead time if you want the car customized.

I love the Taycan but it would cost me $30K more to get similar HP AND it’s just a bit too flashy for me.

In another thread I mentioned Genesis Electrified G80. I strongly considered it but ultimately have a concern about the dealer experience.

I also think e-Tron GT and Taycan look cool but they are too expensive and may need a facelift soon.

I considered Polestar 2 but the vertical center screen turns me off. During the test drive I was very distracted by constantly looking down to find the screen. Also if you think i5 is too tall, Polestar 2 is even taller with very impractical interior space.

I think the best looking EV is the Dodge Charger Daytona Concept. It is a concept but the exterior seems pretty much production ready.

My neighbor has a Taycan and it looks good. I sat in one at the Electrify Expo in Seattle and it was way too low for my arthritic knees. The e-tron GT is nice, but I don’t care for the other models. I don’t like SUVs or trucks at all. I think the i5 is the best looking for now. Although, I really want to see what Jaguar puts out in a few years.

Taycan looks good for sure. I'm very curious about the Alfa Romeo Giulia EV which supposedly will arrive in 2025, have high hopes for both the styling and performance.

For me, it's not to say that the i5 is ugly. It's that it's very ugly/bland in base form compared to say a base G30. In order to make the G60 look good, BMW decided to get greedy and you basically need TWO M-sport packages and 20" wheels.

the G30 not being as bloated could get away with 19s IMO

I saw my first i5 yesterday on the roads in the UK, it def stood out, looked like a small limousine. It drove past me on the motorway.

Was hoping they introduce a 540i ICE in the UK, but that doesn't look likely.

Wife and son share a Ford Mustgang Mach-e AWD...I think it looks great. We get alot of compliments on it's looks and even paint color, Space White? Ford def know how to build cars. May not super lux but it's solid. No creaks/rattles after 1.5 yrs. The i5 M60 I ordered hopes to have similar range. still gives me anxiety but we have dual home chargers and as long as you remember to charge overnight things are good. Occasionally someone forgets to charge and then panic ensues. Lucky we have a Electrify America down the street. Ford give 2000 free charging hours. Those fast chargers are great when they work or avail.

After owning 12 bmws in 27 years, I decided to try Porsche , and the Taycan is a work of art that Porsche won’t be able to out-do themselves when they refresh it.

It is a georgeous looking car. No doubt about it. What’s the white car in the garage?
