H&R VTF - amazing

I installed the H&R VTF springs the past week and put about 300 miles on my local back roads. I decided to go with H&R because a a friend who owns a well known local shop called AR Motorworkz recommended it (thanks Ron). He had gone through several suspensions on his G80 and settled on the H&R VTF.

I did not really care about the stance as much as wanting improvement in handling. I did about 3000 miles on the stock suspension. I also added 15mm/12mm spacers. I am more then happy with the updates. Lowering the center of gravity of the M2 has improved the handling characteristics even more then I had hoped. I use my M2 as my daily but work from home and put 90% of my miles in the mountains and canyons of SoCal.

My car came with the PZERO’s and they had 3000 hard miles on them prior to the H&R’s being installed. I have a new set op PS4 tires ready to install but wanted to see how the H&R felt with the PZERO’s. The Perelli‘s we’re wearing badly on the front outer edges but lowering and spacing the wheels probably added some much needed camber. I will get an alignment this week (wanted springs to settle before alignment). I can already see the tired wearing better. I had a G42 xdrive prior to the M2 and basically did the same mods on it. I actually reused the spacers from my G42 on the M2.

Updated with pictures after a wash.

I had the H&R VTF on my G82 M4 RWD and also got the H&R VTF on my G82 M4 X-drive, both kits are excellent

I updated with pictures and can recommend the H&R to anyone looking for an adjustable kit for their car.

Is the suspension set as low as it will go? I just got the kit and will be installing it soon.

Not even close to as low. I only did 1.2” front and 1” rear. Has another .5” or more. I think the H&R has one the best ranges. My buddy has his much lower and still was not all the way.

I was going to go with the H&R Springs but was talked out of them by someone* who had them on their car and ended up replacing them because the rear was a little bouncing and also they did not lower the car enough.

*he has a shop that specializes in BMW's and told me the VTF was much better and uses them on all his cars.

+ for the H&R VTF, its the best option for a street car in my opinion
