Yes, I said exploded! Purchased a 2016 X5 8days later I was driving and heard, what sounded like a shot gun noise. Obviously I swerved because the noise was loud. I pulled over thinking I hit something. NO, I looked on top of the car and the front moon roof had exploded off the car. BMW says the whole mechanism needs replaced but warranty will not cover, he is saying this is a "glass issue"
Dealership finally replaced the glass BUT not the cassette SO what if it happens again and Im on the highway?? This will defiantly cause an accident. Has any one experienced this issue?? PLEASE ADVISE
