I5M60 New Owners...So What Do You Think?

I have a Tesla Plaid on order but thinking about a last minute change to an I5. I made the final decision mostly because of the SC network. I drive long distances on occasion and just didn't want deal with non-Tesla charging.

However, given the potential for SC access in 2025, I'm thinking of sucking it up for a year.

What's the early returns on the car? Any regrets? Better than expected?

I haven’t driven the I5 M60 yet, but I found this review that says the I5 “makes a Model S feel like a shopping trolley”

I test drove the m60 and I own a Tesla Model S.

The BMW drove like a BMW. The interior was also much nicer and didn’t feel cheap like a Tesla. Didn’t get much time to play around with idrive

The Tesla is faster in raw torque but the cornering and handling was better in the BMW.

This is based on a 5 minute test drive

Here's a writeup which I believe was based on a Reddit post that reviewed the i5 M60 from a Model S owner's perspective. (Curiously though the original Reddit post has since been deleted)
