Hardwire radar detector?

Just picked up new i5 M60 last weekend. If I don’t get the radar detector going I’m getting a ticket for sure. Has anyone successfully hard wired a radar detector yet? I found the fuses in either footwell but the fuse card from BMW is opaque at best and I’m trying to find a good fuse that I can maybe tap into.

Appreciate anyone’s help.

You should be able to do a wiretap in the mirror wiring harness (check out Blendmount; they have brackets to mount under the mirror too).

That's what I've had done on my X5 and the M550 that is going to be replaced by an i5 M60 in December and what I plan to do with that car, too.
