Stuck at Port for 4 weeks now.

I have Frozen Grey M60 sitting " at the Port" for at least 4 weeks now. no movement. My SA offers no insight. Any ideas on when it should be in transit. I am So FL so I assume it ships to Jax port of entry.

Same happened to me. From 10/3 to 11/2. Hopefully yours will be on a boat soon.

My SA told me that shipping was the big bottleneck now - hard to get all the capacity they need because of demand in the area.

My M60 just got to the port this week after FLYING through production. It started production the day after I ordered it and left the factory the day it was completed, arriving at the port the next day. Let’s hope that luck continues…fingers crossed. My 2021 M550 is due to go back 12/20.

BMW port serving FL (for overseas builds) is in Brunswick, GA. I have a 530i that sat in Bremerhaven port for 3 weeks before it was loaded on a carrier. That car arrived in Brunswick on Tuesday. Waiting...

You may be extending your lease a month.

I have been at port since November 8th. Need a ship to Port Hueneme. Missed the one on the 9th. One leaves today, another on the 19th, another 2 on the 21st and 1 on the 28th.

I was hoping to get the car by Christmas, but it is not likely now.

I know where to check for the WW line ships, but my M550 came on another line. Is there a place to see which carriers are going where when? Seems scattered. And when I talk about this, my wife says I’m a loser. Ha. Anyone else?

Mine was shipped by Grimaldi/ACL on a combination RoRo/Container ship. It left Halifax yesterday. Since it's a combo ship, it's making more stops than a standard RoRo would make. ACL seems to run a pretty tight and accurate schedule though.

Well, that line doesn’t seem to be heading to the Port of New York.

Port of NY is vague in that it includes so many different smaller ports. ACL doesn't serve the port that BMW uses for the NJ VDC.

the Genius can definitely tell you the boat.

Mine is in transit and to my understand bound to Halifax. The dealership did not offer help to track the ship however, just offered a heads-up once it arrives in Canada.

I tried to figure which ships left Bremerhaven on the 10th and were bound to Halifax, but decided quickly I couldn't be arsed

I just got off genius line. All he could say is that I am still in port. This is week 2. Over in the M3/M4 forums people are on ships to Port Hueneme after 3 to 5 days wait. There are 3 ships in Bremerhaven right now, all going to Port Hueneme, yet they can’t tell me if I am assigned to one of them. I asked if there was an issue, but was told they have no visibility.

So frustrating.

Mine is on the Atlantic Sail, and it didn't go through Bremerhaven as I would normally expect, but Hamburg or Antwerp. They are both about the same distance from Dingolfing. They kind of lose visibility of the car once it is taken over by the shipping company.

In the case of Wallenius Wilhelmsen, you can try to search for the BOL by entering your VIN here https://www.walleniuswilhelmsen.com/track-trace

Mine updated to "At the port (Bon Voyage)" status today. Hopefully it's not stuck at port too long. It will be coming to the NY/NJ port

Crazy, I am still at port...at least 5 weeks now. I posted in a diff thread, how does BMW and port keep 12v battery charged this long? I have a Ford BEV and demands to be plugged in after 1 week, even if battery is near full. The Ford app says plug in vehicle or 12v sys might not be able to start vehicle. Crazy it's been at port this long.

I flipped to In Transit this morning. When I went to bed last night, one shipped had sailed and 2 were still moored. Supposedly, it takes a couple of days for the status to change, so I haven’t a clue.

Phoned the Genius Line, they entered my VIN and nothing happened. They said the system was slow, then not responding and to try phoning later today or tomorrow.

Another layer of frustration.

we have a bunch as well, just delays. shipping scenarios are always flux, seems to be standard.

just keep watching it, also status sometimes will not be up to date and could be delayed.

Confirmed on Garnet Leader. It’s almost to Southampton, UK. Then off to California. It was my preferred vessel because of the lack of stops. Southampton, Long Beach, Port Hueneme.
