sooo i got winter tires mounted today i5 m60.. dealership asked how much km if done on the summer tires


so i drove arround 11xx km since if got mine and they said i lost 2 mm profile depth if thats the case i estimate arround 8 set of tires per year ... well then i am gona trade in the car rly quick

anyone got similar expierence ?

Now I know it’s a different car and it all depends upon how you drive but there is some logic to it.
Heavier car and more torque than a comparable ICE so probably no surprise there but I guess something to bear in mind and perhaps not an obvious cost

well i am not talking about a little more use

i am talking 2 mm per 1000 km

that means i only can do 2000 km with my winter tires and have to replace them

Wheels too big, power too high and car too heavy.
And: maybe too little air in the tires?

Have you checked the depth of all tires yourself?

May be worth checking on the I7 forum. It’s been out longer and even heavier.
