Could this shifter be swapped to the M40i?
This is the shifter from the 2023 BMW XM, any chance the shifter could be swapped into the M40i? Thanks in advance for any info.

Looks very similar to the gear shift in the X3M?

It looks like the one in the X3M. Assuming part #s are the same then yes the X3M will work on the M40i. Others did this swap on here.

I wouldn't compromise the function for the look, I believe the one next to "P" will just be a decoration lol but yes it looks good!
