I woke up later than usual this morning, but I didn't sleep long enough for the Earth's tectonic plates to shift that much, right? Or has the Rockies and the North American continent moved next to Bavaria overnight? (your location says Bavaria and then you mentioned the X2 going to the Rockies)

back to your question... it was 51 days from the day that I received my X1's production number to the day that the car carrier ship docked at port of Baltimore.

Bavaria is my second home, and have lived there longer than I have here in the past 20 years. Will retire there

EVERYBODY should retire to Bavaria.

My fridge is always well-stocked with nothing but 3 or 4 cases of Bavarian beer(usually Spaten) at all times. So I'm fully prepared. Current stock is at least 120 bottles or more, as of 2 days ago.

Please don’t tell everyone to move there…I joking, mostly

But back to the OP, my wife is German and is super jazzed that it’s the only one in the lineup made near where she’s from

yeah, that was one of the top 3 reasons that I bought the X1. Anything from Bavaria is good. If the X1 is manufactured/assembled in the the US like the X3, I would not have placed the order. (yes, I know that sounds kind of bad, but that's just how I honestly feel) Can't say the same about that other manufacturer who make cars in Sindelfingen.

Has your BMW CA given you the ship name yet? The real fun begins once the ship starts to cross the Atlantic Ocean!

I agree. My e90 was assembled at the same plant and I think my M4 as well. The G01 wasn’t and it bothered me, but I accepted it as “it is what it is” as is my current X4M40i which I absolutely love

Ship name? Not yet. The order was just accepted on the 30th and the line doesn’t start back up until the 10th.

Congratulations!
I finally received a production number on the 18th. Looks like my x2 will be finished the week of March 3rd. I ordered mineral white metallic, with red/black interior.

May I ask which site you are using to get this overview?
Perhaps it is something specific to US-based customers.

If you're in Denmark, try signing in to your account and go to My Garage, select Add Vehicle and enter your production number or VIN.

Ha! I was just in the middle of searching for Denmark. I knew it had to be a way to search specifically on BMW/ Denmark's site.

Can anyone confirm which models get the newly designed key fob? I can't seem to find a definitive answer.

Thank you all :-)
Haven't received production number or VIN yet, but will have a look at the Danish site.
