Is the X1 the best deal in the auto industry?

With the Honda CRV and Ford Bronco Sport going for close to $45,000 decently optioned, Tacoma's going for over $50,000 and Honda Civic's going for close to $35,000, the X1 is probably one of the best deals out there. My 2018 X1 stickered at $45,000, same as the current model with similar options. What other vehicle could you say that about?

It is a good deal compared to the current market. Without the plugin option in the US the other thing worth looking at might be the RAV4 prime.

When I was looking for a car I saw the hybrid crv was 40k, the Volvo plugin hybrids are expensive and their infotainment sucks, X3 drives like a lumber wagon. The X1 drives like a car, the interior is nice enough, and the tech is really good.

This is definitely one of the things that got me looking seriously at the BMW. It seems that other manufacturer pricing structures easily pushes their models into BMW territory. I don't know if I'm right about this but it doesn't seem like BMW prices have increased as aggressively as others. And you get a lot for what the X1 costs with way better handling and performance. And now with the size almost that of the X3 I think its size is just right.

$45k for a CRV is insane. I looked at other Ford options and they all ended up being more expensive. Larger cars as well but I wanted something X3 sized.

I just bought a second X1. The first was a factory ordered 23, this next one is a loaded (including leather), certified, 21 for my son. I think they are a hard to beat commuter car for the money
