Performance Center Delivery is back! All models!

Per Jon Shafer at Bimmerfest, PCD is on again and on for all models. This is GREAT news for U.S. buyers!

That sucks! The delivery is definitely a great thing, but that little tidbit (including getting picked up at the airport and having dinner) is what made the deal an honest to goodness perk. The pandemic pretty much turned everything to shit.

Are you still on Bimmerfest regularly? I virtually never go over there anymore. It’s depressing. Back in its heyday, before the current owners turned it to shit, I was up to over 20,000 posts. In those days Bimmerfest was the place for the more “serious” enthusiasts and Bimmerpost was for the “mod” crowd. What the current owners did to Bimmerfest is a shame and should be illegal. It must make Jon pretty sad.

A year or so ago I decided to swim against the tide and I went back. I check in daily and still post a bit, but yeah, it is a shadow of its former self.

Your CA handles all of that at the dealership

It’s possible it could add three or four weeks just depending on the timing of when your car arrives and when you’d like to do the pick up. If the days you are available and the days the center have available don’t line up then you can’t do it. Performance Center Delivery is in pretty high demand, so you need to be flexible. If your CA isn’t getting the job done it is possible for you to communicate directly with the center.

It looks like the hotel stay may be back based on another thread on this subject. It looks like the website is not updated, because it still shows only X vehicles built in Spartanburg.
