Door Sill Scratch Protection?
Just curious if any of you have a concern over scratching the Black textured door sill plastic as you enter and exit the car? It seems like no matter how hard you try on some occasions your heel catches it and on the wife's side it may be worse. We are considering offering a reasonable cost peel and stick protective solution but looking for feedback from owners.
Would you want it solid Black or would you like an option for M colors or some other branding option? Also, would you want it to cover total length or half length or both? What else needs to be considered? A poll may have been a better option but perhaps we are the only ones concerned about something like this. |

I bought this because my wife keeps scuffing the plastic and body paint. So far, I put a long strip on the body section and will be trying the bottom doors and sill plate when I get some free time.
Protection Film on Amazon There are different widths and would recommend a sharp cutting tool for clean cuts. |

Yoga and being very aware of it entering and exiting the vehicle e.g., slow the f down.

Just for Kicks Door Sill Scratch Protection
Just for kicks: First test run for door sill scratch protection using solid material with M colored accent stripe matte finish. A transparent version with matte finish will also be tested. At this time we are not prototyping for production coverage length only fitment and adhesion being tested. Both versions would be removable without leaving adhesive behind.
Thx for the feedback so far wish we had more. |
